Users Feature Request:
Develop a program within CoinTracker that automatically converts other wallet CSV formats into the CoinTracker CSV format. This tool would save users significant time by simplifying the process of importing transaction data from various cryptocurrency wallets and exchanges into CoinTracker.

Imagine an UI that shows whatever columns the file that you imported it has, then what Cointracker believes is what they need and then you can do manual corrections if needed between the CSV columns and the fields that Cointracker needs and boom, off you go. No need to open Excels/CSVs.

United States users had to move their coin from Binance.COM to Binance.US since trading on the original platform was restricted. For U.S. users who had to leave Binance.COM*, API reporting is not an option. We can only run manual reports. And this includes the requirement to reach out to Binance.COM support for temporary access, which they revoke each day and require you to reach out again via their support chat.
On Binance.COM we can go to Wallet History / Transaction history - Generate all Statements and generate a report for the year.
How can we edit the report so they upload to Cointracker? Especially matching the correct column names.
Cointracker CSV guide:
The guide does not explain what to do with negative values. Can we just remove the "-" and move them to the appropriate columns?
Binance report "operations":
Distribution (both positive and negative numbers) Why would a distribution be negative? It involves coins I never purchased.
Withdrawal (always negative numbers)
Transaction Related (negative numbers)
Fee (negative numbers)
Buy (positive numbers)
Deposit (positive)
Remark (same as Tag?)
Transaction related (what is this negative amount of BTC for almost every transaction in addition to fees? Can we report this somehow or is it just the cost of doing business on Binance.COM?)
The manual transaction entry form is somewhat helpful because it identifies Paid, Sent, Withdrawn on the let and Bought, Sent, Deposited on the right and equal transaction types.
However it would be much more helpful to have a simple guide for each exchange that does not allow API access that lists the terms they use and the equivalent term for Cointracker reporting. Thanks.

This needs to be fixed. It is a dealbreaker. Competitors like Koinly can receive the csv file directly from the exchange. I need to use mexc which has a deposit csv, withdrawal csv, trade csv, and perpetual trade csv. This is a ridiculous situation to put a customer in to convert all of this every time. Plus you are double the cost of Koinly. Please fix.

Please automatically convert Celsius transaction files into Cointracker. You should not make the customer convert those files because it can be time consuming.

The biggest detractor to Coin Tracker service is the CSV conversion process. It fails almost every time. The amount of work going in and the inevitable frustration when it doesn't work makes this service not worthwhile. I have purchased CSV editing software and spent hours trying to get data accepted on Coin Tracker to no avail. This is my last tax year as a customer and I won't be the only one leaving.
