Coinbase CSV fails to validate
complete
Sarah T. - CoinTracker
Users may experience:
- When attempting to upload transaction history to CoinTracker from the File Import pageusing a CSV file from Coinbase, the CSV fails to validate.
- Users will see an error that states "Validation errors. Fix your file and upload it again."
Expected behavior:
- Users should be able to successfully upload transaction histories in CSV formats from Coinbase via the File Import page.
- Note: Crypto-to-crypto advanced trades are not supported in our CSV importer due to missing info in the Coinbase CSV. For a more seamless experience, we recommend using our API integration instead.
As a user, what should I do?
Until the importer has been fixed, users can continue to upload via API or convert their Coinbase files to
CoinTracker CSV format
and upload them as Other type wallet
