Adding a Kusama (KSM) address to your account can cause a large discrepancy between your reported and calculated balances.

KSM users — especially those who are staking — may see a large difference in their balance totals.

There is no workaround at this time as it is the reported value that is erroneous. Transactions and tax documents should remain correct despite the inflated reported value.
