Users may experience:
  • creating or editing a transaction manually to create a transfer classifies the transfer as trades. Here is an example transaction of the misclassified transaction created for testing. For users that may report similar behavior!

Expected behavior:
  • Transactions that have equal incoming and outgoing values should be classified as Transfers and not trades.
As a user, what should I do?
  • No action is needed at this time, our team will update this post once a fix is deployed!
  • Users who are seeing capital gains on these transactions categorized as trades can mark the transaction as Non-taxable until these transactions are correctly categorized. Review our guide on
