Bug Report: Balance Differences
What is the issue?
Significant discrepancies between calculated and reported balances are appearing for certain crypto assets when Kraken is synced via API.
This is occurring for both the Auto-Earn and Staking features in Kraken.
Users that enable then disable these features may see balance differences in their wallets on CoinTracker. (see screenshots below)
Who is affected?
Users who enable/disable the Auto-Earn and Staking features in Kraken or unstake an entire asset from their Kraken Earn wallet.
What is the workaround?
There is currently not a workaround, however our Engineering team is aware of the issue and are working on a fix.

No, this issue has not been resolved. I am still seeing the wrong amount received after refresh. Thanks for trying though.

Update:
This issue has now been fully resolved
🎉We’ve rolled out a fix that corrects the balance discrepancies related to Kraken Auto Earn and Staking. Wallet balances, rewards, and related calculations should now sync correctly going forward.
If you’re still seeing anything that looks off after a fresh sync, please reach out to our support team so we can take a closer look.
Thanks to everyone who reported and your patience with the fix.

I have the same problem. The issue is, Kraken for example pays .10 SOL staking rewards, then Kraken takes say .02 SOL for a transaction fee, and I receive .08 SOL. However Cointracker is incorrectly processing the transaction. and adding .10 SOL to my account, and as a result my taxable income is wrong. I am reporting that I earned .10, when I only really earned .08. I highly suggest cointracker fix this issue immediately or we will all have incorrect reporting the the IRS, if you are from the USA.
The work around is the manually go into each staking/earn reward, and subtract the transaction fee from the actual amount. So from the example above, manually edit the transaction from .10 to .08 SOL.

Just an update I also disabled the auto earn and the duplicate wallets were fixed. The odd thing is the recent sells from coins that were on auto earn like TAO had the correct +/- in profits and losses. INJ, DOT, ADA were some that were way off so wondering if it's only certain ones that aren't showing the correct gains/losses. Hope they figure this out before tax deadlines.

Just an update for those paying attention. I spoke to support about this and was told to upvote this thread to get notifications for when it is fixed and did so.
I offered to stop anything running on the Earn program in kraken, and coincidentally a few days later all the duplicate wallets disappeared and the balances returned back to normal. Quick fix, but no staking on kraken for now for me as Id rather keep the tracking as accurate as possible.
Once the team fixes this issue I will be turning the earn function back on, am on standby for that. I'm glad they are working on it though.

Kraken: Transactions Suggesting Review Due to Kraken's Earn Feature

What is the issue?
With Kraken Earn, this feature does not have a lock-up/unbonding period for the tokens involved, and they are still considered trade-able. Users who engage with Kraken's Earn feature may experience transactions suggesting for review when selling those tokens.
Users may also see discrepancies between calculated and reported balances appearing for certain crypto assets when Kraken is synced via API.
Who is affected?
Users who enable the Auto-Earn features in Kraken.

This is happening with my usdg wallet. For some reason there is an extra usdg.f wallet shown in cointracker, but no such holding exists in Kraken. There is transaction history with usdg being transferred between this clone wallet (usdg.f) and the normal usdg wallet. It's confusing, and annoying.
