Users Feature Request:
Enable the embedding of CoinTracker information into third-party websites, offering capabilities such as displaying coin information (price history, volume, etc.), transactions, wallet/exchange details, alerts, cost basis, and capital gains/losses. This feature would support advanced use cases like real-time trading analytics, embedding tax information in exchanges/wallets, and custom portfolio tracking.
User Requests:
- Implement a webhook feature in CoinTracker, allowing users to specify a URL that will receive notifications via a lambda function for every new transaction added.
- Introduce a CRUD API for managing transactions directly through external applications.
- Consider integrating scripting/automation directly within CoinTracker, similar to platforms like Auth0 Extend, to enhance user interaction and automation capabilities within the product.

Indeed, I'd like to add buttons for Touch Portal and/or Stream Deck to show wallet or aggregate coin balances.

I would love a REST API that would allow me to pull various information from my holdings so that I could integrate my holdings into personal dashboards. At a minimum I would want to pull my current portfolio value so that I can add it to a dashboard I am building for my asset values (stocks, cash, crypto holdings, etc).

I would consider becoming a paid subscriber if CoinTracker had a simple REST API, so I could submit data from exchanges that CoinTracker doesn't currently support. Having to manually upload CSV files regularly is a big discouragement.
