Feature Request: Block Explorer Links in Mobile App Transactions (Android & iOS)
What is being requested?
The ability to view
block explorer links directly within the Android and iOS app's transaction details
. This would enable users to validate transactions, view confirmations, and check categorization in real-time without needing a desktop.
Why is this needed?
Currently, users on both Android and iOS apps cannot easily access block explorer links for their transactions, making it difficult to verify details and categorization on the go. Adding block explorer links would:
  • Allow users to quickly validate transactions.
  • Ensure proper categorization directly from the mobile app.
  • Enhance the mobile experience by removing the dependency on desktop access.
What can users do now?
As of now, users must log into the desktop version of CoinTracker to access block explorer links for verification or manually search for transactions on third-party block explorer websites.
