❗ What’s the problem? VTHO transactions failed to sync to CoinTracker, and VET transactions, which previously synced, are no longer syncing. ✅ What’s the ideal outcome? CoinTracker should restore full VeChain integration by rebuilding support for the chain, including automatic syncing of both VET and VTHO transactions. Users Feature Request: Allow users to add Tezos wallets to CoinTracker automatically for transaction syncing. Note: For users that have previously synced Tezos: the Tezos API provider we use has shut down, which prevents new wallet connections. Your historical data should remain intact but as always, we recommend backing up to prevent data loss. As a user, what can I do? You can manually import your Tezos wallet transaction history as a workaround: Export your transaction history from your wallet. Format the data using the CoinTracker CSV template . Users may experience: CoinTracker is not correctly recording the amount that is not spent in a "send" transaction on UTXO blockchains such as Bitcoin and Cardano. Instead of showing the returned amount as a transfer, it is recorded as a receive and the crypto receives a new cost basis as if it were just purchased. Expected behavior: The expected CoinTracker behavior would be to create a send transaction for the spent amount (triggering a taxable event) and a transfer transaction for the unspent amount that was returned, retaining its original cost basis and age for gains calculations. As a user, what should I do? If you wish to make manual modifications to correct this, you'll enter two transactions and add the correct tags for send and transfer: A send transaction for the original amount. A transfer transaction for the unspent amount that is received back to your wallet address. Alternatively, users can add xPub/yPub/zPub or Stake Keys instead of individual addresses to mitigate the behavior. How can users provide feedback? Users are requesting improved support for Cardano (ADA) wallets connected via stake key, specifically to include staking rewards in CoinTracker’s balance and transaction history. These rewards should: Be visible in wallet balances prior to undelegation Reflect the correct fair market value (FMV) per epoch Be considered in compounding reward calculations Why is this needed? This causes confusion for users who delegate ADA and expect their full balance—including staking rewards—to be visible and accurate in CoinTracker. There may be a discrepancy between delegated ADA shown on explorers like Cardanoscan and what is reflected in CoinTracker. What can users do now? Users can manually add missing ADA staking reward transactions or upload a CSV file. Note: Any manually added entries will need to be deleted once the issue is resolved to avoid duplication. Users may experience: Balance differences flagged on their XRP wallet page balances Missing transactions within their XRP wallet, non-native tokens not imported (i.e. CORE, SOLO, etc.) Reported balance is displayed accurately but calculated balance is incorrect due to missing transaction history resulting in incorrect calculations On the XRP block explorer missing transactions will appear as OFFER transactions (Image 1) *Note: See our balance difference article for more information. * Expected behavior: CoinTracker should be importing full transaction history, this includes Trade transactions for XRP wallet. Instead of including the reward amount in the total value sent, it considers the rewards balance/quantity as a separate entity, causing discrepancies in send and receive amounts across wallets. Expected behavior: CoinTracker should correctly account for reward quantities in transfer transactions, treating the total amount sent (including rewards) as a single transaction, to avoid discrepancies and incorrect capital gains calculations. As a user, what should I do? Users will need to make manual modifications to correct this. Actions include: Importing ADA staking reward transactions via CSV to avoid balance issues. Editing transactions that are not transfer-matched to reflect accurate transfers. For transactions appearing as Send and Receive, ignore one (e.g., the Send) and update the Receive transaction to 'change type to transfer', specifying the outgoing side as the original Send wallet. This issue has been escalated to our engineering team for review, and we will update this post once a fix is deployed. How can users provide feedback?
