Users Feature Request: CoinTracker supports staking with the stake tag . This tag ensures cost basis is kept and no taxable events are recorded when you stake or unstake assets. Users want to track their staked assets in CoinTracker. For example, if a user stakes 32 ETH, we show the ETH leaving and the portfolio decreases by 32 ETH. Bug Report: Balance Differences What is the issue? Significant discrepancies between calculated and reported balances are appearing for certain crypto assets when Kraken is synced via API. This is occurring for both the Auto-Earn and Staking features in Kraken. Users that enable then disable these features may see balance differences in their wallets on CoinTracker. (see screenshots below) Who is affected? Users who enable/disable the Auto-Earn and Staking features in Kraken or unstake an entire asset from their Kraken Earn wallet. What is the workaround? There is currently not a workaround, however our Engineering team is aware of the issue and are working on a fix. How can users provide feedback? What is being requested? There are number of transaction types and features that Robinhood offers to users, some of these features are not supported by CoinTracker via our API integration. These transaction types and features include: Bonus Crypto Crypto Rewards Staking Withdrawals/Deposits Transfers between Robinhood wallets These transactions will likely be omitted or missing from your imported transaction history via our Robinhood integration. What can users do now? Users will need to manually add these missing or edit incorrect transactions to ensure their entire portfolio is reflected in CoinTracker. Feature Request: Option to Unfreeze Historical Transactions After Universal to Per Wallet Migration What is being requested? Users who have completed the migration from the Universal to Per Wallet tracking method need an option to unfreeze their historical transactions. This feature would allow users to make updates to correct errors in their account data. Why is this needed? Users may not have fully reconciled their transactions or realized they had incomplete data before switching from the Universal to the Per Wallet method. Without the ability to unfreeze and amend historical transactions, errors in their data can lead to inaccurate cost basis calculations. By allowing users to unfreeze and update their data, they can ensure their tax reports are more accurate. What can users do now? Users who completed the universal to per wallet migration must reach out to support to unfreeze historical transactions. Those with concerns about the Safe Harbor provision or how unfreezing may impact it should consult a tax professional for guidance. Feature Request: Support for Phantom Cash Accounts What is being requested? Add native support for Phantom Cash accounts, including the new stablecoin-backed balance and related transaction activity (e.g., swaps, sends, and debit card usage) within CoinTracker. Phantom Cash creates a new wallet address under the hood and abstracts it away from users, who primarily interact with it via username handles. Currently, funds loaded into Phantom Cash appear as “send” transactions, which misrepresents the actual activity and leads to incomplete portfolio tracking. Why is this needed? Users holding balances in Phantom Cash or using the Phantom debit card are not seeing accurate representations of their holdings or transactions. Since Phantom Cash is increasingly used to swap assets and earn interest, lack of support can lead to portfolio discrepancies and confusion. What can users do now? Bug Report: SOL Wallet Syncing Shows Balance Discrepancies What is the issue? Users are reporting a mismatch between their calculated SOL balance and the value reported for the SOL address. Who is affected? Potentially any user with a SOL address added. If you are impacted you will see an unexplainable balance difference in SOL. What is the workaround? There is currently no automated workaround. Users can manually review their transaction history or import missing data via CSV if they identify gaps. What is the issue? UK and Canadian users with a qualified paid plan are still being paywalled when trying to view tax lots on the Tax Loss Harvesting page. Additionally, the currency is incorrectly displayed as USD instead of the home currency, such as GBP or CAD. Who is affected? UK-based or Canada-based users who have an eligible paid CoinTracker subscription and access the Tax Loss Harvesting feature. What is the workaround? Integrate support for Helium wallets in CoinTracker. This enhancement will allow direct tracking and management of assets in Helium wallets. Transactions from Helium wallets must be imported via CSV as a workaround. Ensure the CSV is formatted to CoinTracker's requirements using the guide available at this link .

Users Feature Request: Users are experiencing inflated transaction counts due to small, irrelevant SOL transactions, such as play_flip associated transactions. The request is to have CoinTracker automatically ignore or not count these transactions, similar to how other spam transactions are handled, while ensuring balance accuracy for SOL holdings. Suggest, also upvoting this feature . As a user, what can I do? There is no workaround for this issue currently, and it will need to be addressed by the engineering team. Users are encouraged to upvote this feature request to prioritize its development.
