It would be helpful to have a filter or feature that easily identifies which transactions produce capital gains. This would simplify understanding and resolving issues with capital gains calculations, making accounting easier.

In the portfolio insights on the website, assets in the 'other transactions' category are currently tracked as 'on exchanges'. It would be beneficial to track these as 'off exchanges' or provide an option to change this setting. This would correct the flawed percentage of assets reported as 'on exchanges'.

What is being requested? Update the UK tax treatment of staking transactions to reflect current UK guidelines and provide optionality for users to apply the treatment based on how staking is performed (e.g., solo staking vs. pool staking). Why is this needed? Currently, UK staking is automatically treated as taxable. However certain staking methods (e.g., solo staking) may not be taxable. Automatically treating all staking as taxable may lead to inaccurate tax reporting and create additional work for users. What can users do now? There is no current workaround. What is the issue? Multiple incorrect MATIC to POL trades are appearing for Binance US users. These entries are the result of a token swap that happened earlier this year. Who is affected? Binance US users who held or interacted with MATIC during the token swap process. What is the workaround? No action is needed at this time. Bug Report: ADA Staking Rewards Missing per Epoch What is the issue? For ADA wallets connected via stake addresses, staking rewards are not being imported per epoch as income transactions. These rewards are visible on explorers like Cardanoscan, but are missing from CoinTracker. Who is affected? All users delegating ADA who rely on CoinTracker for tax tracking and income reporting. What is the workaround? Manually enter each staking reward (per epoch) ⚠️ If choosing the above method: Manually added rewards must be deleted once native support is live. ⚠️ Undelegation reward transactions should be ignored to prevent double-counting. What is the issue? In the Tax Loss Harvesting tool, the sort arrows (e.g., beside "Amount to Sell" and "Max Harvestable Loss") are not functioning correctly. Clicking these arrows does not reorder the list as expected. Who is affected? All users. What is the workaround? There is currently no workaround. What is the issue? Some SOL wallet transactions related to staking activity are incorrectly showing a date of 1 Jan 1970 , instead of the actual transaction date. Who is affected? Some users with SOL wallets and staking-related transactions may see them dated incorrectly. What is the workaround? We recommend users wait for a fix from our engineering team. What is the issue? The ordinal provider previously used has shut down, which prevents rune and ordinal activity from appearing in recent BTC transactions. Historical data should remain intact but new ordinal transactions will only include the BTC involved. Note: Provider has shut down mid-May 2025. Who is affected? Users with BTC wallets that have rune or ordinal transactions after mid-May 2025. What is the workaround? We're currently working on setting up our new provider for ordinals. In the meantime, users can manually edit their transactions to include their ordinal tokens or wait until replacement provider is integrated. Bug Report: AAVE Staking Incorrectly Treated as Trade What is the issue? When users stake AAVE and receive stkAAVE, CoinTracker treats the transaction as a taxable trade, this should appear as a Stake transaction. Who is affected? Users who stake AAVE and receive stkAAVE in return. What is the workaround? There is currently no automatic workaround. Bug Report: Binance P2P Transactions Not Importing What is the issue? Binance P2P transactions are not being imported into CoinTracker via API, even though they appear in the exported file from Binance. Who is affected? Users who engage in Binance P2P trading and rely on CoinTracker to track their transactions automatically. What is the workaround? Currently, there is no supported method to import these transactions automatically. We recomend waiting for a fix from the team. If there is an urgent need to add these transactions the Binance CSV can be converted to CoinTracker format if it fails to upload. Keywords: Binance P2P, missing transactions, CoinTracker sync issue
